It only has four strings. Is it a bass or a uke?

I miss the palm tree. Littleman has finally stopped asking where it is (six months later).

Yes, it's my only Ovation - an Applause uke.

I like it a lot. Got it for Christmas!

Hmmmm...
Anyone ever tried to convert a uke to a 6 string "traveler"?

The neck and top of a uke will never stand the tension of steel strings. I have owned 6 string (2-1-2-1) and 8 string (2-2-2-2) tenor ukes and they put out some serious sound. Dave
