I've held out on this one as long as I can, but I'm not seeing any movement on #41, so I'll throw this one out there and see which one sells first (I get to keep one of them). This is the 112th production Adamas I and it happens to be a wideneck (1 7/8"). It has a couple of cosmetic issues, the most noticeable of which is the faded (leached) color around the epaulettes. There were problems with the way the early epaulettes were attached and it looks to me like these were reglued and the glue leached the surrounding color. I've seen several others of the same vintage with this exact same condition.

The other noteworthy issue is where the finish is pealed away on the side of the neck (see picture). The neck joint is nice and tight and this is strictly cosmetic, but I just want you to know what to expect. I have no idea how or when that happened. As you can see, other than the two conditions I pointed out, the guitar is in great shape. The electronics work perfectly though I seldom use them as this guitar projects like a cannon (notice the top is a 95).

If you're into looking at guitars rather than playing, then this may not be the guitar for you. It's a piece of history, a magnificent player, and a testament to Kaman's engineering prowess. Includes case, case cover, and I'll throw in some cool documentation. I won't take a penny less than $2600.00 plus shipping plus 3% if you pay with PayPal. I think it's worth three times the price, but then again I tend to value old stuff (I'm old and I value me).
Thanks for looking.
Nick

Worth every penny and then some! I would keep this over the 47 and I really like the 47's. Good luck....
