Just because you Googled and found a picture of one that's in chrome does not mean they were ever produced that way. THis one was obviously altered. The pickup selector switch still has the gold ring on it. You will also find some that were custom builds and one-offs (it's possible your pictured one was custom ordered that way, but I doubt it), some even with finishes that were not offered, but it's highly unlikely. The non-production models are few and far between (and probably owned by the owner of this site). As I said before, PRODUCTION models were done in gold. You'd be better off buying a gold one and looking for chrome hardware if that's how you must have it. Looks are the very low on the list as to why the UKII is special though. | ||
