1982 1619-4 Ovation Custom Legend For Sale/Trade
w/ohsc.

I purchased this beauty a little over 2 summers ago.

The original tuners had to go, since the gears were starting to slip a lot.
I replaced them with early Schaller chrome tuners ( Made in W. Germany) The original
gold washers and nuts are in place.

The original stereo pickup was replaced ( Due to one of the crystals were shot) I will
give you the original pickup w/guitar if you like. The new pickup is OEM , same, but mono, Purchased direct from Ovation. Wiring and pre amp are original and work great.

Ebony fretboard is in excellent cond. A tiny bit of wear on the frets under the (B) AND (E) strings, From the 1st fret to the fourth. Nothing bad, strings ring true.

Action is great, all notes ring as they should all the way up the board.

Face of the guitar has a sub surface crack in the wood, from the bridge to the edge. I dont believe it go all the way through.
The finish is not cracked. No dings, rub marks, or heavy scratches on the top.

All abalone on guitar is in excellent cond.and the nicest ive seen thus far.

Both the walnut bridge and t/r cover are in excellent cond.

Pearl tuner buttons are original and in excellent cond.

Some small chips on the top of headstock – No breaks or cracks. Back side of neck is in real nice cond. Bowl is in excellent cond.

Case- Very good cond. All latches and hinges work perfectly.

This axe has a beautiful, warm/bright tone just like it should for an vintage custom legend.
Punchy, Articulate. Stays in tune great.

Asking $700.00 + shipping or will do
a trade for a 1987 Ovation Collectors Series
in Nutmeg or natural finish. No black please.
