It's been a long time since I played a deep bowl Adamas, but I do remember that strumming E, F, or G chords sent a rumble through me. That impression has stayed with me for 15 years. I will also have a warranty, something I don't have as the second owner of my 1881. Even if I sell the 1881, I've still got a fairly large $$$ gap to close. Thanks for the insight people.

If in doubt about which one you prefer, stop by. I have both. If it was an either/or decision for me, I would keep the 1581 because it will do everything. Because I prefer SSBs in the band, I actually play the 1881 more than the 1581, but only because of comfort and playability. Sound-wise, they're pretty equal plugged in, and unplugged, the deep acoustic tone of the 1581 is noticeably stronger.

I figured that finding a buyer for this guitar would be easy. Finding another $500 has proven more difficult thus far. But I'm still trying to find a way to do this before the last one is gone...
