Looks nice. The knobs aren't original, but that's no big deal really. Case seems to be in good shape as well.

Bottom line... Can you buy a comparable bass today for that price? Made In USA, Graphite reinforced neck, those amazing pickups or anything similar (not made that I know of), 34" scale.

Nothing close that I know of.

Seems about $500 higher than the average "buy it now" and dealer prices I've seen over the last year or so.

Too rich for my blood though. The IV I bought from Al was in stellar unplayed condition. I almost wonder if he didnt tuck it away back in 83 and forget that he had it.
