Just a heads up to other Pacific Northwesters who may have seen this ad on Seattle CL for the Country Artist. Don't even bother!
The ad says its got "high action" and boy is that an understatement. The strings have got to be close to 2 inches off of the fretboard on this thing. Neck is pulled away from the body AND it's severely warped. There's also a major finish crack running from the bridge down to the bottom. So unless you've got a straight neck for a Country Artist kickin around, don't bother! |

If you're interested in a beater 1624, I might have something for you.

It is dang near impossible to repair the early O's with the epoxied necks because you can't separate them well. |
