The guitar is in good condition, but is definitely a player's guitar, not mint nor is it collectible. If you do a search in the archives there is some background of my acquisition of this instrument. The bad (to get it out of the way): Much played and has been refretted. When I bought it the first few positions had divots it it from cowboy chords, and this was repaired with walnut dust and superglue. The back of the neck also has been repaired (two dings, but there is NO structural damage of any kind). Some chips on the rope binding, some worn spots in the top finish. I have tried to show all the marks, etc in the pics. The hard-shell case is in dismal shape, as the pics show. However, I am including also a gig-bag from the Twelfth Fret in Toronto. Used but in good condition. The good: Sounds great, no structural damage, i.e., neck is good, bowl, top and bracing are sound. Tuners, pre-amp, etc are original. PICS: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wemedge2/ PRICE: US$795.00 plus shipping costs. Cash (if local sale) or paypal (will provide info upon request). Prefer local sale if possible, the advantage is that you can check out the instrument in person before plunking down any cash. :) If shipping I will have to ship the gig bag separately. Feel free to pm with any questions- Thanks, wemedge

I have a guy sitting over there right now who is interested, but he says his wife will kill him. That's one of the best parts of running a music store. You can buy them, play with them for a while, then sell them and buy something else. My problem is that I tend to want to keep too many.

TJ, that's two now and almost a third. And you have soooo many more temptations hanging on the wall. Alison, you'll LOVE the 1614. (Jim, thanks again for dinner) Blues

I love mine, and if I had to part with all but two, this would be one of the keepers. If you like the bottom end to be strong, this is the one that will satisfy. I have yet to find another guitar that can stand up to this. Wemedge, I can't believe you are parting with it ... You are gonna' regret it. I am currently working on upgrading the electronics on mine to the OP Pro Studio. Once I get that upgrade completed, the neighbors are going to think there are earthquakes in northern Michigan.
