Dave what "rounded edge"? the binding, which i guess is what is also referred to as the suspension ring on the adamas I, being ornate rather than smooth, is rough on the tender skin of the underarm. as i said, it is not a problem when standing up and as paul said, i am sure i will get used to it otherwise. it is painfully worth it! :p

I had that custom built last year and Tupperware took her off my hands when i realized my doubleneck order had to be paid for....it is one of a kind and I think the "outie" epaulets are far from "gay"...it is a bad 12 string! Again....Congratulations!

I had a doubleneck in Cherry Sunburst finish with a lot of bling added to it! It is a monster! I maybe letting it go soon also...let me know if you may know someone interested in her! I have pics in my gallery.

This is the reason I now wear long sleeve shirts whenever I play out. Another habit I have is resting my little finger on the pick guard or other surface (sans pick guard) when picking arpeggio style. After a while, this really smudges up the area below the strings.

I just joined this site yesterday after being made aware of it by Bill while posting my adamas on ebay. I showed my wife and it made her her start crying. She thought it was so wonderful. She loves your video. We live on Long Island New York and have never experienced Great Hawaiian Music until now. Thanks to you we are more enlightened about it and you were cross referenced on youtube with Ledward Kaapana. We never heard of him. He is a great master and you have opened up a whole new world of great music for us. Thank you and Congratulations with your new adamas. When I first saw the posting of the guitar for sale I wanted it too and showed my wife. Then I found out it was sold. Then I found out you recieved it as a gift. Great Story !!!
