Unbelievably loud and easy to play, and this one is finally getting to a price that it should be tempting. Just thought I'd give a heads up. 1758 on Ebay

(I have no life) I saw that awhile ago. I just had to balance the price, with the fact that I don't play the twelve that I have all that often. Since no-one bid on it for five days... I hope you get it!

Joined: July 2002 Posts: 1900 | BegginJM, A quality 1758-Elite is a STEAL at that price. I live in East Tennessee and the shipping would be $65 with the USPS. Carolina wouldn't be much more. Please be advised, there are other OFC members looking at it.. ;)

Joined: October 2006 Posts: 5575 Location: big island | after much deliberation, i placed a bid on it to try and hit the reserve and feel quite certain that if i end up winning the auction, i can find a way to pay for it. i may have to settle for it now and get an adamas later. i really want a 12 string for many of the songs my band is doing and since i can plug this one in, it should work well. i ain't got my heart set on it so anyone else that desires to, please bid.

I have three. The 1758, a 1115 Pacemaker,(1972) and a Martin 12-20,(1968). They all sound good but I think the 1758 has a more balanced sound and the OP24 preamp is super.

I'll refrain from this one...Go set it Lanaki it would be a great one to go with the 1537..by the way, loved the you tube vid. I will patiently wait..mine will come in due time.. Jim
