He'll be copy/paste this thread to every person he knows and put it on christmas cards, etc. Yes, Paul has some very nice guitars. Guitars that any of us would be proud (and lucky) to own. But pandering to his self-image is exactly NOT what we need. Dave

He never puts them all in one photo, does not list them on his signature, etc. It's all very "stealth" like. But extremely nice. I played his rebuilt GC12 last month. The factory did an outstanding job building the new body and it plays and sounds wonderful. Probably better than it did 38 years ago. Dave

I still remember that you and several others held back so I could get it. I shouldn't tell you how good it sounds and plays 'cause now you'll really be sorry that you did. Here's a pic of my two GC 6 strings --- a 2006 1627 reissue and the 1968-69 GC DB shiny bowl..... If I ever had to sell some guitars, the GCDB wouldn't be one of them!

He is on tons of steroids for the brain tumor and can no longer play to speak of, but can still write those beautiful melodies note-by-note. He found Jesus and I'm happy for him. But when he starts preaching....well....you can only imagine, cock. Now sell me sumpin' for I have to whack you!!

I watch all the videos of Reed posted on youtube, plus the dvd recorded in '92 with Chet and remember what a great and inovative guitar player he was..... Goob, you were blessed to have had the opportunity to play with him.

But by the time we get done having a few beers, you may change your mind. I just won't play a guitar 'cause that's inspired a few people to get back into the whackin' mode. You're not going to do something tacky are you, like bringin' a banjo?
