Location: germany | Hi, i got an Adamas model 1898, and when using the xlr-output from it (via our mixer) after approx. 1 min. it gets inactive. Running it via the normal input it works (as long as the battery works). Can you pleae tell me what happens with the xlr?
thank you - steini |

Location: Tennessee | Maybe a silly question, but are you sending phantom power to it from your mixer? If not, it could be shutting down when the tuner does its auto shutoff. |

Location: germany | Hmm, the mixer ensured that phantom power is turned off...but i can reassure. do you think this could be the reason? |

Location: germany | Oh, you mean it MUST have phantom power? Ok, this maybe the reason. I'll check, thx a lot - steini |

Location: Tennessee | Yes. To use the XLR output requires that the preamp have phantom power from the mixer or amplifier. So you need to turn it on at your mixer. |
