I am looking to purchase a 1997 Collector's series parlor guitar. Must be in good condition.

Get in line... Been looking for a nice one for a while now. They do come up once in a while though. The narrower necked ones come up much more often than the wide necks do.

A friend of mine has two. He is willing to part with one for the right price. Both are in excellent condition (played 'em) and bother with OHSC.

Wide neck or narrow neck versions?

Both are the standard Parlor guitars -- whatever that neck width might be.

AFG, looks like narrow neck only.

Hizzoner,

Has your buddy hinted on what he may want for one of these? My daughter is petite and having problems getting around the 1537.

Thanks,

One of those wide necks will come around one of these days. I just hope the quality and the funds are these at the same time.

BluesSailor-The narrow neck sounds like it would be perfect for your daughter. Very comfortable sized guitar.

Thanks ovation fans, I found and completed the deal for the Collectors 1997 Parlor guitar.

Will update all once it is received and put through its paces.

Blues: He hasn't told me what he wants. If you have an offer, email me. The one he wants to sell has a case that's been used a lot (not abused -- the material on the handle is coming loose) but the guitar is near mint.
