Well, it's finally come to the point where the neck on my Breadwinner must go. The intonation/playability issues that the twist in the headstock are causing just can't be overcome.

I'm now looking for an Ovation electric neck (preferably Breadwinner/Deacon) that I can swap out with this one. Condition must be very good to excellent. Finish is not really a problem, as I'll likely have the factory refinish it to Barnwood when I get it.

On the off chance that someone would actually have a matching neck for this instrument, mine is finished (obviously)in Barnwood.

Thanks!

Woody, might you have an unused neck, by chance?

An unfinished neck would ultimately save money at the factory since they would not have to strip off old colors to match the barnwood of the guitar.

Fretboard, frets, etc are in excellent to minty condition since it has never been used.

Katana - Yes, but... Mine is finished in oil and has a re-veneered peg face. It would look better on a Limited body from Miles!

Glenn - No. As much a as a 1/2" difference in scale length and subtle neck shapes and width. Also the Viper Maple necks have a different sound than the ebony mahogany necks.

So long from Ocean Shores, WA!

Thanks, Stephen! I must temper my jumpiness. :D

I looked at the photos in your gallery-how bad are the dings in the fretboard on the bass side in the upper frets? Or are those just dirty spots?

Must be just a funky photo.

IMHO neck is smooth and flawless.

...and Katana, you should just get the neck Stephen is offering.

You will be happy with the condition. It pains me to say it but, Mr. T is a purveyor of fine goods, honestly represented.
