Location: SoCal | interesting how the top has aged (doesn't look like camera distortion) - notice the two areas on the each side that are close to identical - almost like difference in bracing, angle?? |

Location: NJ | While I can't see the picture in question (can't access eBay here), I have seen pics where the two halves of a bookmatched top often have a strange pattern to 'em by the light refracting through the finish and along the grain(s) at different angles. Sometimes gives a positive/negative effect . . . |

Location: SoCal | My 1537 has a bookmatched top with the same kind of coloring. Bluebird's original GC DB is the same. I think it's kinda cool.
I'd pass on the Pacemaker. I don't like those cracks in the top. Find out from the seller of the GC 12 if there are any cracks in the top of it. If it's clean, then I'd go for that one. |
