Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | If I could just remember to unplug her when I'm not playing, the batteries would probably last longer also. (I know .. a no-brainer) |

Location: NJ | I've NEVER had 'em just "die" in the middle of a gig. When play 'em out long enough, you're able to detect telltale "symptoms". First, you'll see a bit of a drop in the "gain", and as they start to die off, you'll start to notice a bit of "distortion" in the signal . . .
(at least that's how my lowly FET-3 behaves) |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | My first indicator is during tuning, when every-other string has less gain. The first time this happened I thought the pickup was bad, but a fresh battery fixed it right up. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | You are not alone. That is one of the indicators. Switch the battery and you'll be fine. The unplugged thing helps too but it's so hard to remember all this spoo. |
