| as well as some nice old vipers and projects, but then I see some of you already know that
good luck,
the 1283 listed is Identical to mine(currently being evaluated, enjoyed, and hopefully restored soon by Chatman),
will be interesting to see what it goes for as this is the first pd I've seen there since getting mine.... we have other members here in on the mahogany and the 12-string.
Again Good luck guys,
God Bless,

I got home last night and unpacked missudatstood. Man these electrics are a ton of fun. I've never played one before. This one's neck is alomost as fast as my 2005 collector :D . Seriously, I'm having a blast with this toy. thanks for the chance. When I get a tired of messing with this thing (mid 2006 I think) I'll take a look at fixing what seems to be ailing her. By the way did you, per chance change the batteries at any time during your trouble shooting to date?
Excuse me, I gotta go back and trouble shoot some more.... |

| Hi Rick,
I tried 2 different sets of brand new, one set duracells then energizers....
was hoping it would be something simple or stupid like maybe the 25-30 y.o. flimsy/broken power wires or maybe the batt coupling/s were shot or flat solder joints...
but then that's why I sent it to you...as simple and stupid were as far as I could go....
and I did not want to tread where I shouldn't.
when the tone circuit went out it didn't just quit... it just kind of...faded.. then wouldn't work at all... did happen after messing with one of the pots in the back(phase).
Glad you're having fun with it. it is a really nice guitar... even with less than 1/4 of it's normal voice... wait till you get it fixed!!!
awesome... Like I've said before it's like a wall of sound in many colors.
toy?...just wait...definitely not :D
hey if you can.... post us all a nice and scary shot of it while you have the guts all ripped out of it
Thanks Again,
God Bless,
Glenn |

| there's another nice preacher deluxe now with everyone's preferred bridge...
if anyone has a spare one of these bridges for sale, with plugs and studs let me know, either in chrome or gold plate(preferrred) if chrome will just buff the gp off my pickups...or if you would like a set of the gplated p/us' and you would be willing to trade/sell for your chromes + bridge assembly well you get the idea.
Thanks in Advance.
God Bless,
Glenn
