Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Seen that on a couple of 12 stringers. I think the strings touch the plastic if the bridge angle isn't set right, and the cover pops off. Easy to fix if you kept the cover. |

Location: Virginia | Do all Vipers have the black cover? My natural never had one when I got it, but the one I just picked up does. The natural is chrome, and to be honest, I think it would look bad if it did have the black cover.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Those are two completely different bridges. The Black covered one is the older original design, then they moved to the newer Schaller (that say Ovation across the back) models. I think somewhere if you search, we determined there are 4 bridge styles. |
