I PURCHASED THIS GUITAR IN 1967 FROM AL CASEY'S MUSIC ROOM IN HOLLYWOOD. AL SELECTED THIS INSTRUMENT PERSONALLY FOR ME AND IT HAS BEEN USED PRIMARILY IN THE STUDIO AND FOR COMPOSITION. IT'S IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION AND THE SOUND IS HUGE. I HAVE 5 GUITARS TOO MANY AND WOULD SELL THIS IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT. WHAT IS IT WORTH? NO BS PLEASE.

If you don't want b.s., maybe this isn't the right board....

Ok, seriously, there is not way to know what the market is for your guitar. Probably anywhere from $300 - $1000.

If you are willing to pay $5-10 bucks, put it on ebay with a reserve of what you want, list it with a 10 day auction and good pictures, and start the bidding at a buck. You will find out what the market value is for your guitar (which is the only true monetary value).

If you had run a search on the board for value info, you would have seen that this advise has been given about 5 times already, by several people.

How's that for no b.s.?

I've just bought a '68 Deluxe Balladeer for around $300. Mandolin Brothers were asking $3K for a '66 a while back. I think a guitar like this should be worth a grand or more, but the reality is that they don't fetch that kind of money, yet.

Logic says that they should be in the $1000-1500 range for a good clean guitar from that time frame. However they don't go for anywhere near that.
