| Greetings to all. I just bought a 1763 from a local pawn shop and am jazzed about exploring my new axe. From researching the serial number it looks like it was made in 1990. As you can tell by my name, I'm a big fan of Pat Metheny and bought this one because it's the same model that he's played since the mid 80's.
However, the guitar did not have a case with it so now I need to find one. From looking on Ovation's website it looks like this classifies as a deep bowl deep cutaway. Any recommendations on cases?

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | 8158 are about a hundred bucks including shipping from various online sellers.
9158 with the white "Ovation" inside on the fur is about $130 - $150.
Or you can get a Zero Gravity (8358) hard foam case for a hunnert or less.
I would recommend a hard case, but many like the Zero Gravity because of the backpack straps.
Here are your choices... But you probably already know that... |

| Thanks so much. I think I'm going to try and stick with a hardshell case, because I'm going to be using this at gigs and it's going to knocking around the back of my car a bit.
Any thoughts on the SKB Cases ? |

But the Ovation (TKL I believe) cases say "Ovation" on them.
So that might be worth any savings you might get.
But if they have a SKB case that fits down at your local shop right now you might get it.
But cases that I have bought online only took a week or less to get to me. |
