A friend of mine (out of town) needs to learn to tie off new nylon strings. A few years ago I followed a thread here - that had several well-documented pages on the proper way to restring and tie off nylon strings (not ball end). Can any of you old-timers here direct me to that thread....I did a cursory look - but didn't find it...it was about 4 - 6 pages of good directions...I don't need the help - but me talking to her on the phone doesn't cut it either....Stephen, John, Paul, Al, Beal -etc....can you direct me there.....please.
Thanks

Thanks John...it was the first one - but the second one is good too. Everyone have fun restringing their nylons now!

I use the D'Adario strings that have a ball on the end, no tying :)

John...oldtimers on the board...not chronological age...though I do describe myself as well-broken-in now. I say it adds to the mojo.
