Nice pic Brad. Tell T28 that next time he needs to be a rock and roll man and wear a black shirt ... and leave the Bill Cosby getup at home.

Thanks Bobbo.

I have a black T-shirt that I acquired on my last trip to N California that properly expresses my sentiments.

I'll show it to you next time we hook up.

It is indeed a sad moment. I still have my first Glen Campbell album - that I bought in 1968 - when I was 12 years old.

I have had the good fortune of seeing him in concert three (3) times - once sitting front row center. The last time I saw him was in Nashville a couple of years ago where my son and I were honored to sit at a table with Ralph Emery and his lovely wife Joyce. This was an experience in and of itself - he shared some great memories.

During the concert, there were a few moments where Glen seemed distracted or would ask what key a certain song was in - I wondered then what was occurring.

He is the reason that I own and play Ovation guitars.

Having watched my grandmother go through Alzheimer's, I can only hope that the transition is peaceful for him because I know it will not be easy for his family . . .nor for those of us enjoyed him through the years.

It would be interesting to run a poll and see how many of us this would apply to.

I suspect that it's the reason most of the players out there play Ovation. He started it....

My prayers are with him and his family ... and you also Fletch...

May we ALL live each day to its fullest, as if it were the last, making the most of the really important things.

My Brother recently reminded me that in our family you either die young of cancer or live a long time... mumbling incoherantly.

Lost my Father to dimensia/alzheimers, not a great way to go but he always enjoyed our company and our smiles (whoever the heck we were!).

He's definitely responsible for my first one. He's also responsible for setting the bar really high for me as a player. I'm still coming up short.

I became a Glen Campbell fan BECAUSE he played Ovations. My Dad worked for Charlie, and we were all so excited the first (and every) time we would see one of his guitars on TV!

I've been a fan of Glen from the first time I heard him sing and play.
There were a lot of performers playing Ovations back in the '70's, what happened?
You'd think that in this day and age of going green everybody would be using guitars that used less wood just to save the trees!!
