Location: Los Angeles CA | Hi all, I've got an old Ovation acoustic guitar. I'm pretty sure I bought it the mid 1970's. The model no.inside says 11144 made in New Hartford, Conn. I've had it in it's case unused for over 25 years. I think because I didn't unloosen the strings, the tension created some cracks from the bottom on the face up to where the strings are pushed through. A 7" crack on each side. I may get it repaired or just try and find out it's general value which can't be much. It has the natural wood finish. Any input would be most appreciated, Walt |
