I keep reminding myself that other O's will live to fight another day as a result of this one's sacrifice. Balladeer 1974-2010 R.I.P.

I have a 1111-6 with no serial number that was made somewhere between '74-'79. The temptation is to reattach the sacrificed s/n onto that but it's unethical.

It was a 2x10 about four feet long, I couldn't believe my luck. Price was right for a pensioner's hip pocket too. I put it through the band saw and got eight pieces out of it. My son has it stickered and stacked with some rocks to prevent twisting. You will make a beautiful top someday for this deserving Ovation orphan. Regards Jim.
