It just figures doesn't it? It's bad enough that you give your debit info to John Budny, but then you have to wait an entire day (maybe even two) for UPS to deliver?

I mean, this is America right? The land of instant gratification right? Star Trek's been around for decades right? We've developed contemporary versions of communicators (cell phones), space shuttles, tri-corders (medical scanning devices), and the Vulcan nerve pinch (tazers :p ), so where the heck is the Transporter?! Shouldn't we be to the point where I can press my thumb on a pad, John gets his money, and then he beams me my guitar in about 30 seconds? Am I asking too much here?

And then, just to mess with my fevered, unreasonable, didn't-get-to-eat-breakfast-or-lunch brain; not half a day after I complete my transaction, the wettest, longest, and potentially deepest snowfall to show up this year starts making trouble for UPS drivers on the very day I can reasonably expect delivery! I think somewhere out there is some kind of karma-meets-impatience-meets-inclement weather gremlin with my name tatooed on its little pointed tongue.

Who said waiting is the hardest part anyway? Just because you know the truth doesn't mean you gotta rub my face in it right?

SIGH....... :(

Oh well.

Back to waiting.

It's the hardest part you know.

C'on Patch, you've waited longer than this during climate weather...

Tis exquisite pain...

Sometimes the anticipation is the best part of a new guitar.

Uh-oh.

You made your deal on the same day that I made mine!?!?

That means we both started "The Waiting Period" within hours of each other?!?!

It's gonna snow until July! We're doomed.....

i know what your going thru patch , 2 weeks ago i bought a 1115 pacemaker from texas and the day he shipped it to me was the day that huge snowstorm smashed into the east coast and the south .of course u.s.p.s. tracking doesn't ever show up online until your package has already arrived,so i just sat and had bad visions for five days.the visions of the usps semi trailer slipping of the road and landing on its side with my frozen woodtop guitar ending up on the bottom of a pile of heavy packages,,, ohhh the pain.
but my guitar arrived just fine but the case was a bit busted up..
;) hope this helps to ease your anxiety ;) GWB

An additional thought: as mcuh as we hate the wait, the only thing worse than waiting for the arrival of a much-anticipated guitar: NOT waiting for the arrival of a much-anticipated guitar.
