First, happy new year to all. It's been a while since I've been on.

To the point: I have an Optima with a tuner button that doesn't engage. Push it in, and it doesn't stay. (Ergo, it might be a generic button question.)

Any tips? The preamp functions perfectly well, otherwise, so the problem is limited to this one button and seems mechanical more than electronic.

Thanks,

Paul

Bump. Still looking for answers. (The board was closed after I posted this, so no one was able to respond.)

Paul, sorry I didn't see this before.
The tuner button on the Optima is the only one that is non-latching. Depressing it simply turns the tuner on, and it has a timed shutoff.

So if your tuner functions when you push it, it's working as it should.

Welcome back, Paul. I actually tried to type a response to your question before I realized the site was shut down. Waskel's answer was better anyway.

I made up for it by answering twice. Slow computer and a poor memory isn't a good match.
