Well i finally finished installing the OP-30. Thanks again MWoody! During the process i had to keep fighting the urge to revert to my shade tree mechanic days, where the #1 rule was, "If all else fails, get a bigger hammer!"

What pictures i took of the process i finally put on that ning thing. I will try to paste the link...

Pre amp install

The tuner is great, just what these tone deaf ears needed. I finally plugged it in last night before the English class to play with all the buttons! What fun! Now i have to figure out what it is i'm hearing them do!

Peter - very nice job! I like your solution to finding the proper location to mount the can... not as messy as clay.

I found cutting the hole was pretty easy, but VERY dusty. I'm still finding bowl dust around the work room.

On the guitar that I did, I expanded the battery hole to 1/4" and used a black plastic cap from home depot. I love the pick holder idea!
