I just played all my guitars again tonight and WOW!... BAM!... that 07 Collectors has got some powerful lows! None of the others even come close, with the exception of the Deep Bowl AdamasII with single side eppi. But it is close to that one in volume. It has a very unique and bold sound that the others don't have. Now that I've had it and played it a while, the sound has really come out on it. If you have a chance to get one, snag it while you still can!

I agree with you Vince. I love mine as well. I remember when they were first introduced as the 07 Collectors, they received a luke warm welcome. A lot of people felt they looked a little boring. But man, the tone is awesome. I also find it very comfortable to play and I even like the VIP preamp. THANK YOU OVATION for such a fantastic and afforbable guitar.

When I first saw the 07C in Connecticut I was not impressed. Then later played one and became very impressed. A really great guitar....

It's a gorgeous guitar in every respect. Gorgeous tone, and, in my opinion, really sharp to look at.

I love the contrasting dark and light. And the sound? Just wonderful. Nicely full-bodied, without being excessively anything! However, Vince, you're right about the lows...it projects them impressively!

I spend a lot of time in the highs, and it's clear and crisp.

Just a wonderful guitar!

I've owned and sold the 84, 93, 97, 99, 01, 03, 06.

The 07 remains unsold.

I've owned/held a couple and would like to end up with one again.

I agree that they are nice guitars, but I did sell mine. Yeah, they have great bass and projection, but to me the treble strings sounded a bit "nasal-ly". Of course, with the Adamas', and my old 1617, and that incredible LX, maybe I'm spoiled. Everyone should have such troubles!

I love mine. Can't beat the sound and the cutaway is really handy too!
