Bah!
We could get more guitars together than that with just 3 attendees downunder.
(Coz we got AJ!) :p

Looks like fun, Brad et al. Going to watch the vids now.

Yes, but we'd have to turn the pictures upside down.
I really like the "avatar" you guys have for the downunder group on the ning site.

Video was courtesy of my Wife, Christine (Freckles). A great videographer ...

Thanks for the hospitality SLIPKID...

Met some great folks and had a great time.

We'll have to do it again when it thaws ...

BTW: Don't let GUITARWANNABEE fool ya. Not only was he the sharpest dresser in the bunch, but that guy can play (even an F Chord). I saw it with my own two eyes...

I turned the volume right down, then off completely, but gwb's shirt was still deafening.

Yep... YSHBT
.
One last thing from me.
It was great get the chance to play the guitars the guys brought.
They were all special but a couple stood out.

Roady's re-issue Balladeer was outstanding in an understated, humble way.

Twisted's 12 string had a set up better than a lot of electrics.

I thought I was over the Koa bug but Roady's '09 got it going again.

And there was something different about GWB's Millenium. The carbon weave seemed, well, tighter and smaller than I'd seen before.

At one point I had forgotten what guitar I was playing and had to tip it back and look.

And out of all the guitars, only one did not get picked up.
The SweetwaterT was the only one that never left it's stand.

Ok, who is who? Wish I was there but the grand baby needed to be watched.

I told the son he is cutting into my social life. The wife told me I don't have a social life! Hmmm!

Time to change that...

Someone has to point out that Brad' GC Elite was everthing he said it was and more. It was like a deep bowl legend on steriods. It sounded fuller and crisper than my legend and yet had that nice even tone...and it was a mid bowl!
