What the --- going on down there in Florida?

Beal, G8r, TJ all saying they're not buying guitars in 2010? Something strange is happening....

As for me, I want to find and purchase a model 5749 in 2010 and get a digital camera and learn how to post pictures.

My guitar related ones are:

#1 Finish a bunch of half written songs. I think I'll get to that one.

#2 Do some recording, I think I'll get that one done.

#3 Play an open mic. Don't know if that will happen, I can't find any open mics here. I can't even play the jam night at the blues club because it closed down!

#4 I have a whole list of songs I want to learn.

#5 Pick up the slide more often.

#6 Find people to jam with.

#7 Get to more OFC gatherings!

TJ, if you declare them now they don't count for 2010. As for not buying any next year, I realllly don't need any and the 4 I got two weeks ago will hold for a long time.

I'm going to enjoy as much time as I can with my Wife and Kids when I get home.
(but...just found out I've got to go to a six-month school in VA -have to see about meeting up with MusicMischka- a month or two after I get back. My Honey isn't too happy about it but at least I'll keep getting the Active Duty pay and it's close enought to drive home a few times a month)

I intend on attending a gathering or two.
I really want to meet some folks here face to face.
I owe more than a few of you a really big in-person thank you (you guys know what for).

Appreciate what I have, maybe pick up one more that I don't have, possibly get rid of a few unused amps, and make a big dent in my mortgage debt so that I can someday retire.

get over a bad injury and hopefully enjoy life again as I've been house bound with an injury now going on 25 months.

..and for some reason I'm obsessed with finally getting a les paul. Wanted one since I was a kid. Les paul supreme or used custom

Does this mean that somebody else dug you out of that 10' of snow last February?

As Alison suggested in another thread about guitar teachers.....I am going to play every day.
Four 10 minutes at a time are better than One 2 hour session.
Happy Holidays etc..
Jim.

I'm going to get my 1680 onto the same continent as me. Already put in a conference presentation proposal. Now to convince work to pay for me to go and present!

I just stayed inside until it melted. Bears call it hibernation - i think their on to something.

jokes aside, thank god for the best neighbors a guy can ask for, they helped me all winter. Otherwise I would indeed be buried

Pray that a Storm hits my home. I specifially wish that a Tornado hits my home, but any Storm will do.

Play more, practice more, learn more, enjoy guitar more.

Play good enough to at least post a little something here.

Attend another OFC gathering (see ladies what you got me into) :)
