I am about 3 1/2 hrs East of Detroit on the 401 thruway (190 miles). I see you are in NW Michigan: Are you in the Upper peninsula? I have camped in my mini motorhome all over your beautiful State. I like the Upper peninsula around the Pictured Rocks, Grand Marais all the way through Munising to Marquette and beyond right into Wisconsin. I was a lineman on the other side of the lake in a place called Marathon around 1954-55 whenever the highway was going through. I thought I would die everyday with the wind coming off Lake Superior.
