Now that I've exhausted my present phase of GAS, I have noticed that of the four O's I now have, two were made in 1997 and two in 1988. What are the odds that over a span of ten years (since I owned my first Ovation) I would have guitars made in synonymous years? Were these unpopular or exceptional years, or does it have something to do with my age? If I add these serial numbers up, square the answer, and divide by 4, will it tell me my age as of today? Maybe I've stumbled on a Davinci code for Ovations...if these serial numbers win any lottery tickets, I'll let you know.
