Does anyone know of a good dealer tha has this guitar? I know they are not made anymore, which I don't understand why, because these are such great guitars. Plus I need one that comes with the certificate.
thank you :D

Hi Karl,
I just checked on that listing and I am not really sure if I want to do business with them. I called about that guitar and they couldn't tell me at that time if there was a certificate with it, plus their price is a little high for a guitar sitting around the warehouse for 2 years.
I have contacted Al from Lost Art Guitars and he is checking for me.
I own 2 Ovations that I bought over 25 years ago and I love them. Super quailty and they sound fantastic.

I am from Farmington MI, but presently residing in Nashville TN because of my job. I miss the Motorcity and all the engery it has with the rock scene. Nashville is boring, except that Namm is finally returning here in June! :D

Nashville, eh?
I guess that rules out meeting up at next weeks "Folkin' Friday" here on the east side.

Sorry about that. If you are going to summer Namm here, let me know. The dates are June 20th-22nd. I always fly out to the winter show, which is the mother of all shows. :D

We have a pretty good contingent of OFC'ers that show up at Winter NAMM...even take advantage of Mr. Moody and his wife on Thursday night for a get-together.

I am not familiar with the name Moody. Is that the inventor of Ovation guitars? Excuse my dumbness.

By the way, welcome...previous posts are understatements ;)

Al is probably the best 1st source for one...hopefully, he has one...for many of us, Al is our dealer and friend.

Charles Kaman, with a lot of talented staff, created Kaman Music; his son, Bill Kaman (screen name CWK2) is the former president, active poster, generous with his knowledge.

As native Nashvillian, I guess I could be offended, but we do move at a different pace down here and you may have to adjust you taste in music if you are looking for a rock band on every corner. I dare say we are a more divers music town than the Big D. With the 3 girls I dont get out like i did in my 20's but we got lot's of guys playing for free here in this town that would be getting paid in most any other city in America. I get paid not to play.

We have very few Northeners move back once they settle in.
