| Thank you.
my Surgery was originally scheduled for 1 pm on Fri, then they changed the venue/hospital at the last minute... still same surgeon tho.. and is now scheduled for Oct 7th.. I'm having my GallB finally removed, a Liver Biopsy as I have been battling hepatitis since the late 70's NANB then, now known as HepC, and a serious check on my pancreas.... will know more when lab results get back,
and may have to have more labs again since surgery has been pushed back and changed from Wuesthoff to Holmes.
seriously hoping all is well with the pancreas and liver, and if so, will just be an over-niter.
and I'll be able to eat some real food with fat, oils, and grease and seasonings in it again :D
keep your fingers crossed...
Thank you again.

Location: Michigan | Best of luck to you Glenn. Had the GB out last year. Not too bad of a surgery. The acute pancreatitis I had before that was another story. I know exactly what you are talking about diet wise. Hang in there. Will keep you in my prayers. |

does make one dwell, but I'm staying positive.
We don't do any ground store-bought or fast food meats any longer though.
I will buy fresh cuts and grind them at home though. other than that, it's fresh cut lean meats, poultry and fish and lots of fresh vegetables stir fried or steamed, no-fat dairy, and fruits, beans and rice.
Slydog makes awesome home-made salsa, and not a bad grill man either.
I am looking forward to a nice steak with not too much marble, a baked sweet potato, and some grilled veggies though..
right now, the steak alone would just about kill me, and I would be horribly ill for 10-14 days including the fasting and digestive system re-start.
the gall bladder/pancreatitis attacks are pretty bad.. your digestive system literally goes into reverse... not fun, pleasingly fragrant, or tasteful.
hoping for the best, thanks, Ski!

| Glenn, I'm sorry to hear about the delay. I've had my gallbladder out. I'm sure you will do fine.
