Well, I took the koaT to practice last night.
It hung in well enough with Brian's Adamas.
It does not project the highs like a typical Ovation. Sounds more like Brian's D-28 than an AD-II.
I'm very happy with it.
"Most bang for the buck" has become an often used cliche, but the phrase fits.

Stopped by the local GC yesterday afternoon for some more straplocks (better to use those nifty OFC straps) when I stumbled across one of their proprietary GC LX Elite models in gloss black with the single light wood epaulet. This was the first I'd seen one up close and it was beautiful. Price was consistent with the dropped prices previously posted. Then I spent time in the back room with the more expensive Gibsons, Martins and Taylors. Some were impressive. I left with just my straplocks.
