Location: Reading, Pa. | I have a mod. 1511 Ovation and when I plug it in I get no sound through the amp. I plugged my electric in using the same cord and it works fine. The question is ; does my guitar's mic take a battery or not? Oh, yes it did work a few weeks ago. Help!!! |

Location: Tennessee | Yeah, there's a batter that could be dead. Thebox for the battery is inside the bowl, and there is a screw on the waist of your guitar that gets turned a half turn to release the box. Inside is a 9 volt that you'll want to replace. You'll need to take off the strings to accomplish the task. Might not solve the problem but it is the first place to start and the most likely culprit. |
