Location: Brisbane Australia | I was at Tim my luthier's the other day and he said to take a look at a guitar one of the guys from Aussie band Powderfinger dropped in for a tune up.
Tim said he raved about it.
It was a Baden D series.
Apparently the company was started by TJ Baden who used to work for Bob Taylor.
Hand built in Vietnam from solid Sitka or Euro Spruce top, Mahogany, Maple or Rosewood back and sides.
I went into Allan's Music here in Brisbane today probably like GC in the US to have a look as they seem to be the Oz distributor (bad choice)!!!
They had 5 on displayand looked pretty good.
I asked a couple of sensible questions of the sales person, then he said "excuse me, I have to attend to some customers"!!
Well I sure as shit don't know what the hell he thought I was, freaking ignorant little git!!!
It was a $3K guitar
Maybe it was the Ovation T shirt I was wearing
Then I walked out!!
Anyway have any members had any experience with Baden guitars???
