The sound board is flat, neck straight as can be, NO hump to be seen above the 15th fret and the action is soooooo freakin low its rediculous,Frets are fine and NO buzz anywhere!! The OP24 preamp works great, Put my Elixir Nano lights on and Oh the tone is Orgasmic!!!!! I can't beleive I just brought this home. And get this, We talked for a half hour. Nice guy, I ask how much again. He says five hundred with his wife there. I go out to put my Amp in the car and get my money, came back in Wife now gone, count out money getting up to $470.00 and he says thats fine!!! I asked if I heard him right and he says " Next time you play out let me know" were fine!!! OK!!!!! My Camera isn't the best but here is the link to 3 pic's. http://ovationfanclub.ning.com/photo/1767-legend-flat?context=user

I've been playing it this morning and I'm amazed with the Full, rich tone this guitar has. And, as is typical with the older deep bowls VOLUME to spare!!Been reading up on lack of Truss rod and now own my first K-bar. getting use to the V neck profile as every guitar I've ever owed had a C or D neck profile. So far I don't have a preference. The gutar is on the heavy side but that is aparently due to the K-bar. I amazed this guitar sounds as good as it does. If it was played "maybe 10 times" and put away as described, I figuring the top still has some openning up to do. Since I did the care, feeding and Cleaning with the humidfication inside the case last night, I SWEAR it sounds better then 12 hours ago. This is very quickly becomming my favorite guitar "Tone" wise. NOW, I've got to decide which guitar I may need to let go. ??????????? (NO TJ & Kotadawg!!!) ;)

In the end I just liked the sound of the 1767 better to my tastes. Everyone is different. The 2077 had kind of a Taylor sound to me but then again I only have 50% hearing out of my right ear so take it for what it is worth. :) . Glad you got such a great deal. Even with my minor flaws on mine I still love it. I have put it aside on purpose for a month to make myself get comfortable with my new 12 string. I did sneak back to the 1767 though and man is it an easy guitar to play (even for my very limited skills) Have fun!

I think it's a little more of a Rock sound which I have allways enjoyed, BUT, It's nice to have guitars that sound different. What to do??? Which one to let go?? :  (

After playing/practicing last night for 4 hours with this guitar, it became apparent to me that I must sell my 2077LX. This guitar Is AMAZING!!!!
