First of all, I'm fine. But TJ did deserve the beating that Serge applied! I've got a spare set of strings to apply to the bail...

I told you all my Blood Pressure was through the roof....and he deserved it!

j/k... but seriously did go to the Dr. today... when I got there, was 193/111... they wanted to admit me, but right now is a no-can-do.. we start moving tomorrow.. and I'm Char's 24/7 surrogate care giver right now.. so they put me on clonidine, atenerol, and hydrochlorothyazide, and ordered me to get a BP cuff, and check at least 3 times daily.

I have 9 labs scheduled for tomorrow, started my fasting 10 minutes ago... and also have to pick up the keys on the new apt..

good news is... on the meds.. right now, I'm at 139/89

now, can anyone tell me how to get 1800 sq feet of furniture into a 900 sq foot apt?

I was about to say "only in Florida" until I saw GWB's comment. You hear crazy stories like that in this state so often you don't even notice after awhile. Some writers - like Carl Hiassen and Tim Dorsey - have made a career out of recounting them, and people up Nawth think they write fiction :D

Hmmm....
I wonder how durable an Ovation bowl is. Do you suppose someones head would go through the back relatively easy or would it bounce off ?
Anybody good with photo shop, I can think of a couple of heads I'd like to see popping through the sound hole :D

The one we launched from the trebuchet, the bowl was the only thing that survived the long flight and impact on packed gravel. I think the neck would break before the bowl (over someone's head).

LOVE Hiassen.
"Skin Tight" is still my favorite... but, I've read them all.

- The danger of hitting someone with a roundback would be "rebound"... if you're swinging, best to wear protective head gear.

I heard he used a gibson sg to beat his roommate. And the reason, the guy wouldn't clean his dishes, plus he snored.

Personally, I'd use a frying pan.

When I was shopping for a new guitar back in 1973, the salesman pulled one of two funny looking roundback guitars off the wall and said these things were not only being played by pros like GC, but were also indestructable. Then he swung it like a baseball bat hard against the pointed edge of the sales counter and the guitar bounced back nearly taking him down, but there wasn't a scratch on that round back. I bought the other one still hanging on the wall.
