Location: Michigan | K1115, affectionately known as "Grandpa" arrived from Glenn today....He is a handsome old man. I have to put some 10s on it and tune it up and begin my quest to fingerpick a 12. Glenn was kind enough to send some other stuff including a rather handsome strap, and a tuner. Kudos to Glenn. I am sad he had to sell it because of his situation and promise to give it a good home. Lets all keep Char and Glenn in our prayers for a quick and full recovery for his wife. |

| Glad you like it Rich! I told you it would be EVERYTHING you always wanted or dreamed about in an Ovation 12... please don't worry about sending more questions or asking for advice, I really don't mind, and it's what this great forum is all about.
Charlotte is progressing very well, we are in the process of moving into a much smaller place, and consolidating and minimizing our lifestyle and spending habits. since she has been recovering, our .coms are starting to produce much better, and we will be opening another site soon.
we are stepping down as the facilitators and owners/hosts of our freecycle groups here on their 5th anniversary in May, and have turned over their ownership and operation to other local community members.
Thanks so very much for the prayers and well-wishes for Charlotte,
and a BIG thanks for tolerating me over the years.... I'm working on getting better and improving my health.. and am going to the Dr. Monday to get back on my ADD/Bipolar meds(one of which is Welbutrin/Zyban) which will also help in my quitting smoking, and my Blood pressure medications... I went and checked my BP the other day, and was 178/65... so knew it was time to get back in line.. or stroke out and have a heart attack like she did sometime soon...
Enjoy the Grandpa 12 Rich!
Thanks Again,
Glenn |
