Although he did say you can't really hear much there, it tended to sound more like the Taylor end of the spectrum to him. Not a place I really want to be. The hollow neck and sound port in the headstock looked interesting though.

One of the most interesting aspects is that the neck is hollow, and that's a little extra soundhole where the TRC would normally be. Very odd. Given this the guitar was extremely light weight, maybe too light to actually be comfortable. Interesting idea, but I'm not sure why I would need one of these. I still like CA much better.

Carbon fiber ain't cheap. Then make the cloth and slap some resin on it. What they charge you to do the work is expensive. But the raw material is cheap. It's not like it is exotic hardwood or something. BTW-- All three are ugly.

Y'all keep in mind that it isn't the costs of the materials and it's only a bit more of the assembly costs - mostly it is the Marketeers judging what the market will support! As far as the Carbon Fibre - I understand that the majority of the CF being made is earmarked for Gov't Contracts so supply is is fairly low right now.
