The preamp for my Elite Standard is the OP-24E.
I'm really loving this sound of this particular O.

The only thing that bugs me about the Op24 is the placement of the volume knob. When practicing in a seated position on a stool, the inside of my upper arm will come in contact with the knob and actually turn it counter clockwise (down). Then I'm thinking bad guitar cord, dead battery, lousy connections, bad electronics, etc. I was relieved to finally figure it out, but it is annoying. Fortunately, it doesn't happen when standing.

The only knobs on this "O" are for the strap. The OP24E is all slider control - no external knobs to get in the way. I'm wondering if there's anyway to replace this Preamp with an upgraded model with little to no modification (cutting) requirements.
