It's two months into the new year.
How many guitars have you bought so far?
How many you sold?

I only bought one(1935 D18s/b) and paid the balance on a special order(Merrill C-45 from 18 months ago) although it still hasn't arrived yet.

Two been have sold (a Merrill hog slope shoulder amd a Collings OM3maple/engleman)

TJ?????

Don't worry TJ... I sell crap! You buy and sell all that name-brand spendy [wooden] stuff! :p
(Although my Flame T will be waiting for a Soldier when he gets home from Iraq)

One thing I am waiting for a BC Rich Bich that I will probably clean-up, play with for awhile...
then sell once the novelty wears-off.

Well due to the lack of general funds my needs were satisfied through a trade with Mwoody. He got a fantastic Adamas 1 1587-8 and I got a great Hamer Artist flame maple
A beautiful Deacon 12 with a custom inlay neck from Jim Rickards collection of things
And a surprisingly great sounding 12 String Elite T (Stealth)
Only thing I need to let go for some cash is the Custom Baritone. but hey I was playing a real nice Taylor 814 last night..........I know I said it out loud.....but it was real nice, had some interesting inlay's and sounded great! and if someone wanted a Baritone unlike any other made They might trade it away from me for something like this straight up.

Going to be a good year for music, that's for sure. I have my feet into all kinds of projects. Just worried now about the day I have conflicting schedules. I will be in a bad spot having to make a choice, and possibly piss one of these guys off.
Anyway.... Keep moving the guitars around, it is our job.

A Mexican Tele walked out the store with me one day on a silly impulse.

I tried to give a guitar away to a friend, but it came back. (no, none of you would have wanted it. a classical beater no-name I bought in 1970. my old Beach Guitar.)

1 out (Koa 12...just about the last one I have BTW)
1 back in (after 18 months in Woody's spa)
1 coming in (also after 18 months, and the entire balance of my guitar collection value put into one)

As it stands, very soon I'll be a solid 2 acoustics, 2 electrics, a Papoose, a uke, and a bunch of odds & ends gear, with a VERY small possibility of sneaking in something else cheap along the way... :D

Andrew,

Ya don't know how many times I've wanted to pull the trigger for gits here and lose by a hesitant twitch. But I saw Keith's collection just prior to Smokey's Jam and knew that if he ever offered any I wanted that it's done deal.

One thing I've learned here is that if ya wait long enough, ya might just luck out!

Thanx for the 'grats! Just don't expect this one to be on the market any time soon.

TJ is not my name...
