as you no i bought an OVATION ELITE 1778LX
could you tell me wath brand of string is on this
guitar, and is there any special care I need to do to my OVATION other than play the heck out of it and wax it and love it ;)

| It'll come from the factory with either Adamas 1818 or D'Addario EXP16 (the latter will have color ball ends).
String choice is a very personal thing. Don't be afraid to try out a bunch of different kinds, although a lot of "brands" are all made in the same factory and just put in separate packaging, which is especially crazy considering the wide price difference in what are essentially identical strings.
Just wipe your body fluids off after every use, use a quality polish with NO silicone oils like Dunlop on the top, and condition the fretboard with pure mineral oil once or twice a year depending on how dry it looks. |
