Location: trail B. C. Canada | Today after 30 years with a Black fender tele custom , I purchased a Used Black Ovation.the #s inside it are :1581-5
:8867-84
You are probably sick and tired of us newbies asking this stuff , but I couldn't make heads nor tails outta the charts I logged on too.
Played it for the first time today and runs circles around my tele.
Please tell me what model, year the O is
Thanks Rocketman |

By the serial number it was made in 1994.
(I got that from the Serial Number Referrence list)
That "84" is the frequency of the top according to a Laser Vibrometer (or something like that).

Location: trail B. C. Canada | Thanks for the info Old Man Arthur, and thanks for updating me G8r.
I just found some imperfections in the Adamas.
The sound board is warped down about 1/2" between
the nut and the tail stock , the 1st e string goes dead @ the 10th fret till the 17th. Contacted John Budny @ 'O' AND HE SAID MY cAN. DEALER WOULD REPAIR. Dealer said aprox 1 hr labor. Shipping is gonna cost $150 wow.
prob 1 or 2 of the bracing struts has come loose under the top .He said he does them frequently. I still Love her LOL |
