If you could send one of the following to the Mothership for a new top and general refurb, which one would you choose?

93 Collector's
or
97 Collector's

Mitz, kind of a tough question to answer, not knowing the condition of either.

Do you have 93C and a Parlor, and need advice?

These are completely different animals, and I have never played the Parlor.

Unlike my Neighbors to the South I simply answered the question. :p

And go for some additional Bling all the way around it!

Already voted, but the parlor would be the better investment IMVHO- better points-value with SWMBO, also!

Mike, you know perfectly well that Oregonians can't answer a question until we've spent $500k on environmental impact studies...

I picked the 97 Collector.

I would replace the electronics with something like what is in the FD-14.

Don't know if I would change the finish to a burst or not. The parlor size woody got sure looked nice.

I didn't have any problem. It's a no brainer for me -- the '97! Just be sure you change out the electronics. That touch slider thingy sucks.

Never having sent anything to Mother, I appreciate the input. I was leaning toward the '97 myself, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something that made the '93 more desirable.

Are you limited to original configuration, or can you opt for a burst or bling? I hope so, as I don't care for natural tops.

I am the odd man out (again), as I like the stealth electronics.

The mothership will do just about anything within reason as long as you are willing to foot the bill.
