Location: Earth·SolarSystem·LocalInterstellarCloud·Local Bub		I'm going to fall on the side, that playing a guitar over time does effect it's tone, simply because, it develops "wear patterns" from repetitive use. Glues become harder and more brittle over time as do resins in wood. However subtle, I think this will have an affect on the guitar's sound.

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :)		I think there is a resounding agreement here no matter which side of the fence you're on ... Play hard, play often, and your guitar will sound better.
