Location: Round Rock, TX		HDMI is the format/protocol that is used extensively in home theater to connect components (eg. your DVD to your AV receiver) and on some computers to hook up the monitor. It can carry a 1080p video signal and 7.1 channel audio signal on one cable. The connectors look kinda like a USB that has spent some time in the gym.
