Location: Cincinnati | I just found a UK II for a friend, but the bridge is sitting high off the body, about 1/8". Is there a problem with the bridge or is it just a question of adjustment. Thanks. |

The Ovation bridge has brass saddles on a brass plate with a textured black plastic cover. The Schaller adjusts using the 2 studs on which it's mounted. The Ovation bridge also sits on threaded studs but has a third bolt ajustable from the back of the guitar. |

Location: Marlton, NJ | I have an issue with mine as well. The pickup ring sits right up against the bridge, blocking access to the adjustment screws - making it nearly impossible to fix the intonation.
The one you found probably just needs a height adjustment. |

Location: Cincinnati | This is the Schaller bridge. Do I need to loosen the strings or do anything else or can i just start turning the screws? Thanks. |

The Ovation bridge adjusts from the other end. If you can find an original Ovation bridge, along with height adjustment studs and rear nut it's an easy job to swap them. |

Location: Scotland | The Schaller bridge has always looked wrong to me. The rear part seems to sit too high. If the action on the guitar is OK you might be stuck with it as it is, because lowering the bridge will also lower the action. |

Location: Cincinnati | The action is a little high but I don't know if it's that high. The bridge on my UK II fits like a glove and the action is great. Amazing how 2 guitars can differ. Thanks, Paul. |

Flatten that end (perpendicular to the shaft). Use it to adjust the intonation from above. It's a lot easier.
Before you adjust the bridge make sure the neck is setting in the pocket correctly. It might be loose or have a spacer between the neck and body. |
