Location: NJ | It was just one of those tourist-y "day excursion" things at a port-of-call on a cruise.
I was just one of the grunt "grinders", but I had a BLAST!! LOTTA' fun!!!
I poked my head below deck, and it's basically like a big, long, narrow acoustic guitar. Not much down there.
But once the sails were trimmed, it just hauled ASS!!! . . . |

Location: Melbourne Australia | I've seen prison cells (not as an occupant :D ) that were better fitted out than some of those racing yachts. A head and sails - end of story. But you just go so fast!!! I was out fishing with my brother last week and as we were going along at 25 knots and I said to him the super maxi Wild Oats (96') could do that on a reach and he was gobsmacked.
If you make it downunder Jeff we will have to get you out on a boat. |
